We have openings for Sales Representatives based in Kona!

Sales Representatives are responsible for servicing and selling to retail accounts within an assigned territory to assure client standards are met and volume is increased.

Webco sells consumer preferred Consumer Packaged Goods brands to all Hawaii retailers. Experience is a plus but we would love to teach you how to be successful in your role! And we offer outstanding career development opportunities beyond the Sales Representative position!

PRIMARY DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:

Revenue Budget Achievement:

  • Increase sales volume by addressing distribution voids and out of stock issues.
  • Assure all new items authorized by the buyer get cut into store distribution via approved planogram.
  • When booking Ad orders, suggest quantities needed and request secondary display activity.
  • Push close-outs where possible.

OTHER FUNCTIONS (as required):

  • Execute verbal and written business communications, in a manner that effectively achieves business objectives, reflects the Company’s commitment to integrity, and is in keeping with Company policies (including Code of Business Conduct and Ethics).
  • Deliver work that meets or exceeds management expectations as to quality, quantity, timeliness and attendance.
  • Ensure workflow and processes are followed as needed to achieve business objectives and maximum level of operational efficiency.
  • Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures including but not limited to associated policies found on the Company’s intranet site and the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
  • Comply with applicable laws.
  • Perform the job safely utilizing proper equipment and safety techniques.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by one’s supervisor or other manager related to the position/department.
  • Travel as needed – on island, outer island

Communication, Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Able to lift 50 lbs. for retail resets.
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Open to new ideas and concepts.

Skills / Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of general MS Office Suite.
  • Able to use an iPad for taking surveys, photos and sending/receiving emails.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong initiative and self-directed, ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
  • Mathematical and analytical skills needed.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must manage time efficiently.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a direct linkage between decisions and business results (headquarter meetings, division meetings).
  • Provide a “can do” approach.

Education:

High School graduate or equivalent required.

Experience:

A minimum of three year’s work experience in sales or marketing or similar work environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Significant travel by automobile is involved.
  • Some travel to neighbor islands for store resets (as needed).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (as needed).

Equipment Used:

  • Automobile required to travel to your various accounts.
  • Cell phone required.
  • Apple iPad provided by company.
  • MS Office Suite

Work Hours:

  • 40 + hours per week.
  • Periodically accommodate Client and/or Customer’s appointments or conference calls.
  • Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary.

Other Requirements:

Requirements of vision, hearing, talking, communications, and written skills. Outdoor assignments. Flexible schedule with ability to travel from store to store.
